Name Art
Name Art
As you can see. This is an art of mine that I have worked on for 3 days and I will tell you all the techniques and styles that I have used to complete it. Fist of all I had started off with the brick wall as the background just with a ruler. Next I had done my name in block writing, then coloured it in purple. After that I did simple cracks in the brick wall around the letters of my name to make it look like it's been thrown into the wall. Then I did patterns into some of the bricks, then coloured the rest in red. Finally I had went over the letters and cracks with a permanent marker
Hopefully you would use these techniques and styles in your artwork
Number Conundrum Integers
Today my maths group and I had been assigned to do number conundrum integers and It wasn’t challenging at all because I had already knew the simple rules to doing this for adding and subtracting integers.

Matariki Poems
Matariki is the Maori new year
When the seven stars will appear
We can predict what the coming year will be like
From how clearly we can see them with our naked eyes
The legend behind it fascinates us.
Matariki is celebrated in many different ways
Adults are busy preparing the hangi
Kids are having fun flying their kites
Stories are shared by elders
These are few of many activities we do to celebrate Matariki.

Algebra Equation
Yesterday we did some algebraic equations and It was pretty challenging but I got through with help of my class and the algebraic strategy. The way I found my answer is by rearranging the equation so then the known numbers are on one side and the variable n the other. Then I timed the divided 7 to cross it out, Next you divide the 7 from 14 and you will get the answer for the variable given which is 2. From this I have learnt the strategy for solving algebraic equation.

Lost in the bush
WALT- Write a Narrative
Success Criteria
I must have strong vocabulary
I must have a problem and a solution
I must put the punctuation in the right places
I must be grammatically correct
I must use show not tell
I must use the different sentences like simple, compound
and complex sentence
Lost in the bush
I was in the middle of a pitch black forest with no site of anybody,
with the surrounding sounds of owls hooting and bats resting in
their comfy caves. I didn’t know what to do, so I started walking,
trying to find my way.
Walking through the forest was petrifying because of the
eerie sounds of wings flapping, and many other things.
The frosty air smelt of smoke and I heard the alarming
sounds of an abandoned cottage burning down, because
someone had done so deliberately.
While that problem was occurring, I swiftly ran until I had
laid my eyes on a gleaming light. 30 minutes of running
and I still saw no sign of the light I had seen. I felt as if it
was all a mirage. I doubted it truly, though, because I wasn’t
quite convinced that I had imagined a gleaming light.
How could anyone miss that?! My eyes darted back and forth,
to and fro, until finally something had caught my eye. This time,
I was completely satisfied it was real. I tramped along the
damp grass, and just as I thought that nothing was there,
I had seen a beautiful creature. It was as huge as a lion,
bigger, even. Its dark blue fur stood out from all the other
odd colours in the forest, and its piercing green eyes locked
with mine. I felt as if our spirits had linked themselves together,
as if I had connected and bonded with the beast.
It edged closer and knelt down, as if it wanted me to hop on.
I cautiously sat beside it instead, resting my eyes for a comfy
sleep beside my friendly hairy beast. I was sure it understood
how tired I was.

Number Conundrum
Doing this was challenging but the number line strategy
had helped me with getting the missing answer
either a negative answer or a positive answer.
The name of this game is called number conundrum.
To play this is really simple cause all you need to do
is to work from top to bottom, using the clues given.
The thing that I learnt from this activity was that the
top number that is given would give you a clue to the
next number under it.

Silhouette In The Rainbow Art
Today for art we silhouette in the rainbow art and for me it was a success but made some mistakes, more like a tone. In my opinion I think that I could of did better with straight lines, the trace of the outline of my face and with the paintbrush. In success I think I did good with the outline of my face but the rest of the work I needed to work on it. From this I have learnt many different types of technique with the paint such as with doing straight lines by holding it down and go down slowly and the one when you use the thin paintbrush to do the thin bits of the lines or face.

Sketching
Today In Graphics I did some drawings but logos for things like Nursing care and a logo for feed the world, but the top was just a example. I think that I did good with my sketching but I had to rush with the words. I also think that the words that I have added made look hideous.

Earbud Art
Today for art we did earbud art and it was based on a autumn tree. The technique that I have used for this was damping the earbuds down with the colours of a autumn tree. The colours that I have used was orange, red, white, black and yellow. In success I think that I did good with the damping, branches and with the choice of colours. In my opinion I think I need to work on painting straight lines and damping the paint.

Expect Graphics
12/02/2018 the day where tech had to start. My first class that I have been put into was Graphics which was one of my favourite classes here in tech. A site called toondoo was a site where you could add images on to a piece of paper so what we did was to put images on for what we think of graphics. For the painting image I think of graphics as art, I also think of graphics as crating things such shapes, drawings and so on.
during my time on this was awesome and I will carry on using this site for many other things
